As part of the continuous improvements we’re making to your NHS GP practice we’re upgrading our online service.
The new and improved online service from your practice will allow you to:
- View and book LIVE appointments with our team of clinicians without the need to wait for the practice to confirm your preferred appointment time.
- Order prescriptions.
- Share your medical record.
- Message the practice.
- Self-refer to NHS services.
- Connect to the NHS app for other services.
What do I need to do?
It couldn’t be simpler. To ensure that you are able to access the new online services from your practice or connect to the NHS app, we’ll need to re-verify some of your personal details which we have on our files. To verify your details you’ll need to:
- Call your practice telephone number 0300 130 3333 and select option 3 between the hours of 10am-3pm. Our dedicated team of Patient Advisors will run through some security questions and confirm your details.
- During the call we’ll also confirm your visual identity with a document containing an image of yourself. This could be either your passport or driving license so please have this at hand.
- Please call using a smart device (smart phone or tablet) to allow a video interaction when prompted to do so. If you do not have a smart device please inform our patient advisor who will be able to resolve your query.
Once you have successfully completed your verification, you’ll be provided with a unique PIN code to access the new online service. To help us keep your data confidential and secure, we’re unable to provide you with access to the new online service without this verification. The new online service will replace the current service offered by your practice.
