Appointments

Appointments are available at Practice Plus Brighton Station every day, including some bank holidays. Outside of these times you will need to call the out-of-hours service on 111.

To make it easier to speak to your GP and get an appointment, we’ve introduced eConsult.

eConsult

There are three easy steps:

  1. Book a consultation using eConsult.
  2. The doctor will phone you back to discuss your problem and agree what to do next, or if it is a routine request you will receive a text to confirm it has been processed.
  3. If you need an appointment we’ll offer you a telephone, video or face to face appointment within 48 hours.

If you need to book an urgent, on the day appointment, please call our GP Services on 0300 130 3333.

If you would like to book an appointment with a healthcare professional (like a nurse or healthcare assistant) you can book with us directly without needing to speak to a doctor.

Home visits

We offer home visits for housebound, very ill or elderly patients only. Non-urgent home visits can be arranged with your doctor with a few days’ notice. Urgent visits will be done as quickly as possible, but your preferred doctor may not be available. Please contact us through eConsult if you wish to make a home visit appointment. After 6.30pm your home visit will be undertaken by the local out-of-hours service.

Appointment reminders

We offer a free texting service. If you would like to use this service, please ensure that our reception staff have your up-to-date mobile number.

Cancelling your appointment

Over 100 pre-arranged appointments are being missed by our patients every month, which is having a big impact on our ability to see patients who really need our help. Please let us know if you no longer need your appointment. This will enable us to re-allocate the time to someone who needs it.

Please note that if you fail to turn up to three or more pre-arranged appointments you may be taken off our practice list.
